Redheads Run The World.

Self- Portrait, Unassisted, My Backyard.

The purpose of this session was to showcase my haircolor by Sarah Crowe-Moon. Plus, I’d been planning on self portraits in this beautiful dress from The Crazy Wildflower which provided perfect contrast!

Imagine, controlling 1-2 lights, a camera, a child, and your facial expression, all while trying not to sweat or mess up your hair…

Here are the ones without tree bark in my hair…

About Self-Portraits

What I expected of self portraits was a way to use my time wisely, showcasing creative effects for my portfolio.

What I got was, actually, a therapeutic process. Self-portraits force you to spend time focusing and looking inward, and to be innovative with your skills.

I will be moving in the direction of using self-portraits as my unspoken voice for narratives important to me in ways to make people think.

Will you join me?
